Alumni Awards Program

Join us as we celebrate and honor CSU alumni who are doing great things in their communities and as CSU and the Alumni Association present their highest honors: the Thomas Y. Whitley Distinguished Alumni Award and the Frank D. Brown Achievement and Leadership Excellence Award. Other awards will be given in the following categories: Alumni Service, Young Alumnus, Distinguished Alumnus in Military/Public Service, and Faculty / Staff Recognition. View this year‘s winners. Tickets are $50 per person.

Outdoor Halloween Movie: Halloweentown
Doors open 7:00 PM Movie begins 8:00 PM | Top of the Front Ave Parking Deck
Rain Location: Riverside Theater Main Stage
Relax under the stars, and enjoy a night of spooky fun as we show Disney‘s Halloweentown, a family-friendly Halloween classic. This free event is open to students, alumni, and the community. Free popcorn will be provided for the first 300, and concessions will be available for purchase. Attendees should pack their own chairs and blankets. Don‘t miss this exciting evening of fall festivities!
Saturday, October 26th
Tailgating
12 PM | Walden Soccer Complex Parking Lot
Join us for a spirited Homecoming Tailgate at the soccer game! Grab your family, pack a cooler, and immerse yourself in the festivities. We‘ll have activities for the whole family including food trucks, CSU giveaways, live music, and interactive games leading up to the soccer game at 2PM. and a fantastic atmosphere to celebrate our school spirit together. No registration is required, the first 75 alumni will receive a CSU picnic blanket. Stick around for the match against UNG. The game is free and open to the public.
Homecoming Women's Soccer Game
2:00 PM | Walden Soccer Complex
Cheer on the Lady Cougars as they take on the University of North Georgia with the whole family! The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced during halftime of the game. The game is free and open to the public.
CougarFest
6:30 PM | Livery Courtyard
Inspired by Oktoberfest, CougarFest will feature selections of craft beer from around the country. The guys from Maltitude will be on site to help expand your knowledge of craft beer! Mainstream Band will be performing crowd favorites. CougarFest is free to attend to enjoy live music and for $15, attendees will receive sample tickets and a commemorative beer glass. Tickets for food only or for participants under the age of 21 are $10. Ticket prices increase by $5 on October 24th.
