Sinta Quartet Institute

Join the award-winning Sinta Quartet for the Sinta Quartet Institute (SQI), a 4-day saxophone quartet intensive, at the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University. Participants will work closely with all four members of the quartet in a variety of settings, including: chamber music coachings, private lessons, and saxophone and chamber music seminars. The institute will culminate with a participant concert on the evening of July 17.

 

July 14-17, 2025

Activities will take place from 9am - 5pm each day with some evening activities/concerts.

Check-in the evening of July 13, checkout the morning of July 18 (if staying in provided housing).

Deadline to apply is May 15, 2025

Tuition and Housing

Housing option:
Pre-formed quartets $2,600; Individuals $700 (includes RiverPark housing, 1 block from the Schwob School of Music)

No-housing option:
Pre-formed quartets $2,100; Individuals $575


Eligibility

SQi is open to current high school and college students (all degrees). Participants may apply as pre-formed quartets (encouraged) or as individual applicants. Individuals will be placed in a quartet at SQI.


How to Apply

Applications and audition videos are due May 15, 2025. Acceptances will be sent by June 1.

There is a $50 non-refundable application fee for both pre-formed quartets and individuals.

Full tuition payment will be due by June 15th.
