TEDxColumbusStateU returns Thursday, Jan. 14, 2027,
to the beautiful Riverside Theater stage on Columbus State University’s RiverPark Campus.

It builds on the energy and momentum of our 2026 event, which attracted more than 300 attendees. In the spirit of TEDx’s mission, “ideas worth spreading,” we’re bringing curious minds, changemakers and visionaries to the stage to spark meaningful conversations and inspire powerful ideas worth spreading throughout the region.

The theme for our upcoming TEDx event, Grey Matter—The Space Between, invites us to explore the complicated territory where technology, connection and human experience converge. Technology is changing the world. But the bigger question is: How will we choose to remain human within it?

Being a Speaker

Do you have an “idea worth sharing”? Apply to be a TEDx speaker. We’ll select six speakers from among the Columbus State students, employees and alumni, as well as local high school students and community representatives, who apply. Submit your speaker application by 5 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 6. We’ll notify selected speakers in November and coach you as you prepare your presentation for the Jan. 14 event.
